Diva Darling ~Unique with Style~: Shoes on a shoestring

Is there a such thing as too many shoes? Most women have a large collection of shoes and most men don't understand why. (I do have this problem!) They complain that they only have 2 or 3 pairs and you've got a different pair for everyday for half a year.

Why is this? What's the allure? There's just something about a new pair of shoes that makes me feel good about myself. They have this effect even when I'm wearing a humdrum outfit. With a great pair of shoes I even feel skinner (believe it or not!).

I always believe shoes generally display your personality. We can be the 'knock around the house' bedroom show woman, the 'working in the flower garden' sneaker woman, the 'I don't care what I look like today and run to the grocery store 'flip flop woman'. Does that mean we should have like 9 pairs of shoes for our nine different personalities? Ummmm...No. There are millions of different varieties of shoes or 'personalities' and we don't wear the same outfit everyday.

We deserve to have beautiful shoes. We all DO. Besides, giving up shoe shopping would be like giving up a part of our womanhood. We are good at it. It's a God-given talent. It would be like Picasso not painting or Beethoven not composing.
