Honest, I'm not lost!

I'm back from 5 days trip to Italy - had a lovely time, enjoying a well earned break and some sunshine. Looking forward to seeing how everyone is! A little bit of story to share from my holiday, Italy is one of the best place to visit. (fully recommended!) The capital wasn't built in a day and you will need a lifetime to see it. With so many sites and places to see, you will never be at a loss to do.

We explored the ancient Roman Forum, seeing the Vatican, making a wish at the Trevi Fountain, indulging the gelato, pizza and pasta plus a lifetime experience to shop at the famous street of the 'alta moda' - Via Condotti. (it's probably an excuse for me to go to Italy) wink!

There are more luxury designer brands in one place than I've seen anywhere else with all timeless Roman architecture. I spent surreal days going for sight seeing and fulfilling my job as a personal shopper. It was a truly international experience as I stood in line with women from all over the world. There were Italians, Turkish, Russians and a group of Japanese and Korean women.

Tadaa! I got this Prada Saffiano purse (for one buyer from RM readers) and fall in love with the Fuschia colour, it's almost like dark pink. My hunt for Prada Saffiano Lux ends that day as the specific shoulder bag that I wanted to find for my PS job was totally sold out! Believe it or not, it's the same case in Paris and London.

The last bag that I should reveal is the Longchamp Le Pliage medium tote bag. This will be my favourite bag for my next travel as you can fold them and easily remove stains. Frequently asked question, "How to put together a smart casual look?" (which we shouldn't be confused with semi-formal or business casual dress codes). Looking smart casual, relaxed yet polished is a great basis for any women wardrobe regardless of their lifestyle or personality.

Smart casual dress is about being well groomed and stylish and looking more put together than a typical casual outfit. It is slightly more undone than business casual.

Casual Fridays can be interpreted as smart casual, informal get together with friends, relaxed night out to the movies and dates. If working in a place with a relaxed dress code (or not even having a dress code - lucky you!) smart casual is the best look to aim for.

My favourite modern way to dress up smart casual is to use WAISTCOATS - it helps to smarten up your appearance and trendy.
