What Women Should Know…

What Women Should Know

Being stylish is not the same as being fashionable. Fashion is not a one size fits all. What I mean by this is that not everyone is going to like everything at the same time or at all. Tomatoes. Potatoes. It’s not the same thing but they are both vegetables. Winking smile

Style instead, comes from within. This is what I always believe, some people are born stylish, some people achieve style, but no one can have it thrust upon them. You have to develop your own sense of style and nurture it with a few rules. It cannot be bought no matter how much you try! Whether you're a style pro or fashionably challenged, there are few simple things that every woman should know about fashion. Let’s find out more on what women should know..

1. Classics are always in

Never throw out that LBD or great jacket of yours. Classics styles are always chic! Use trendy items to make them look more updated, but never discard them.

2. Wear clothes that flatter everyone

Tie Front Shirt

If you are clueless as to what flatters your figure, wear items that look good on everyone (less headache!), like wrap dresses, flared leg denim trousers and A-line dresses. Whether you like your body or not, if you understand what your current shape and proportions are and know a few style guidelines for your shape you are well on your way to looking your best.

3. Spring trends that never fails

Certain styles and prints are always fashionable for spring, like floral prints, stripes (consider the nautical styles), and bright colours. If you have trouble identifying trends, stick to what has been consistent over the years. Try pleats and subtle ruffles, it works too!

4. Learn what looks good on you

All available from size XS to XL

Someone I know once told me, "What's in style is what looks good on you." It's the best style advice I've ever received! There are often a variety of silhouettes that are always in style. Find what compliments your figure and rock it!

5. Fail trends that never fails

Try to think plaid, business casual trench coats, and deep reds, oranges, and purples. Those are all fall essentials!

Have a lovely week everyone. Smootchesss xoxo
